The park features the active volcano Mt. Komagatake and three major lakes (Onuma, Konuma, and Junsai-numa). With 126 islands scattered throughout, it offers stunning scenery year-round: cycling and boating in spring and summer, autumn foliage, and ice fishing in winter. It is a premier eco-tourism destination in Southern Hokkaido. *Island-Hopping Path* Small islands in the lake are connected by several bridges, creating a unique and picturesque landscape. *Forest Path* A very peaceful trail where you can look back and capture some of the most beautiful views. *Sunset Path* The quietest and most primitive trail in the park.
