Ciherang Waterfall” 👉 “Puncak 2 Tour Our first tour to Ciherang Waterfall in Sukamakmur turned out to be an unforgettable journey. Departing from Sawangan, Depok, in the morning, we passed through Cibinong, Bogor, Sentul, and finally the challenging Bojong Koneng route, which featured narrow, winding, and twisty roads. In Sentul, we had breakfast before continuing our journey, then stopped for a group photo with the iconic Mount Pancar in the background. Entering Puncak 2, the journey began to feel different—the road was smoother, and the views became more open. Mount Batu was clearly visible, accompanied by expanses of green rice fields that were a treat for the eyes. En route, we also took time to pray Friday prayers on Puncak 2, which turned out to be crowded with other tourists. Afterward, we had lunch at one of our favorite spots, offering a traditional free-range chicken menu and a stunning rice field view. Upon arriving at the Curug Ciherang tourist area, we continued our journey by odong-odong (traditional bicycle), passing the Bukit Batu Ciherang camping ground, before finally embarking on a light trek of less than 200 meters to the waterfall. And finally…Curug Ciherang, pristine, refreshing, and surrounded by verdant forest, truly was the perfect end to our trip. We even spotted wild monkeys along the trail. All our fatigue was instantly repaid when we felt the cool water of the waterfall.
