The Forgotten TRON Sequel That No One Talks About

Tron: The Next Day is a 10-minute short film that takes place the day after Tron: Legacy ends and delves deeper into the canonical disappearance of Kevin Flynn through an in-world documentary and a narrative thread following the underground movement known as Flynn Lives. The whole film is a lot of fun and not only fills in the gaps of what occurred after Tron and Tron: Legacy, but also brings back even more legacy characters into the world of Tron. As we move throughout the video, we’ll discuss how this pseudo-sequel was hidden behind a paywall and follows a larger trend of Disney making Tron properties not widely available to the consumer. With Tron: Ares being described by many as a “soft reboot,” Tron: Legacy’s unconventional sequel might be the only look into what happened after the events of Legacy, making its existence even more important to the fans who want to know what happened next.
