Laura Filloy Nadal, Curator, Arts of the Ancient Americas

Filloy Nadal invites us to visit the newly renovated Michael C. Rockefeller Wing, which currently houses objects representing the artistic legacy of Indigenous artists from North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean, created before 1600 CE. The exhibition in the Rockefeller Wing tells the story of how knowledge was shared and developed through migration across regions and time. The collection illustrates how the movement of people among the great ancient civilizations of the Americas led to the exchange of ideas and techniques, fostering mutual enrichment and technological innovation. #MetRockefellerWing šŸŽ„ Daniela López AmĆ©zquita and Cinthya Santos Briones / CUNY Mexican Studies Institute
