Serbian Traditional SPIRIT, RAKIA
Rakia is a traditional Serbian alcoholic drink made from the distillation of fermented fruit. It is a clear-as-water kind of drink, with a percentage of alcohol that can range from approximately 40% to 65%. Rakia can be made from plum, apple, peach, apricot, grapes, and other fruits. After crushing the apples were fermenting in containers about 30 days and after the distillation process, this homemade apple rakia is about 50% of alcohol.
