We started the day with one of Lima's most traditional breakfasts: the famous Pan con Chicharrón (fried pork belly sandwich), accompanied by a delicious Peruvian tamale, a typical combination that many Limeños enjoy, especially on Sundays. Then we went to the iconic Kennedy Park, one of the most emblematic places in the Miraflores district, where we tried some classic Peruvian street food like the traditional butifarra (a type of sausage) and typical sweets like Picarones (fritters). We also explored the famous Chifa, one of Peru's most interesting culinary fusions, where Chinese and Peruvian cultures blend to create incredible dishes like chaufa rice, stir-fried noodles, and sweet and sour chicken. Of course, we couldn't miss the famous Pollo a la Brasa, one of the most beloved dishes among Peruvians and considered one of the best chicken dishes in the world. And to close this gastronomic journey, we tried one of the country's most iconic dishes: the spectacular Ceviche, a true gem of Peruvian cuisine.
