IYV Jazz Guitar Demo (no talking) | IJZ-300 TSB Semi-Hollow | Review in Description

Review of (as labeled on Amazon...IVY) IYV IJZ-300 TSB Jazz Solid-Body Electric Guitar, Tobacco Sunburst ***note...it says "Solid-Body," in the title on Amazon, but this is a "Semi-Hollow" Body guitar, meaning it has a solid center block and chambered sides. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0107BCV1M?... Generally a "Jazzbox" is huge...the size of an acoustic. This one is very thin by comparison, but it has the "Jazzbox" look, so I'm sticking with that title. I've had a bulky Gretsch guitar, and I find this thin IYV to be much more comfortable. Ok, so why are you wanting to buy this? A budget way to get into jazz and blues? YES! Your first guitar? YES! A viable alternative to a 335? Well, it's more like an ES-135. And no, it's not a Gibson. There will be flaws, but remember...this is a budget guitar! And it is designed for Jazz and Blues...you can probably get some classic rock tones out of it ok, but it's probably not going to work for Metal. Overall: TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY! I love the neck (it flies but isn’t too thin!). I love the warm tone (perfect for jazz and blues!). Pros: Beautiful gloss finish, OK tuners, nut, and electronics. Plays great with low action Cons: quality control (tiny flaws in finish and/or binding), pickups slightly muddy and microphonic I sold my Gretsch 5120 and bought this.
