The Government of India has ordered a temporary ban on the use of the Telegram messaging app in the country in connection with the NEET re-examination. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced this in a press release on Tuesday. The NTA stated that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has banned Telegram under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
