And how has this influenced factors like blood types, disease rates, lactose tolerance and haplogroups in the 2 peoples, as well as royal lineages? Well the first DNA difference between the Irish and English comes from their ancient DNA. As I’ve noted in previous videos, the foundational DNA of most Europeans is a mixture of 3 main sources: Western Hunter Gatherers (WHG), Early European Farmers (EEF) and Steppe Ancestry during the Bronze Age.
