Thousands are hurled into deep space — including the Doctor — until a psychic call from his granddaughter, Susan Foreman, revives him just in time to shut down the plot and save the audience. But the celebration turns to dread when a hologram of Graham Norton reveals Earth ended on May 24, 2025 — the day Belinda left. When the TARDIS arrives on that date, the doors explode inward. Meanwhile, the enigmatic Mrs. Flood (Anita Dobson) undergoes a terrifying transformation, bi-generating into two versions of the Time Lord nemesis… The Rani. War is coming.
