Start-up and Winterising Honda XL125RC
In this video I release this unrestored and original 1983/1984 Honda XL125RC, my classic 4-stroke trail bike, from hibernation to give it a general check over and start-up before storing it safely again for the remainder of the winter - winterising the motorcycle. Because this vehicle is stored in a dry location and relatively short term, I did not feel it necessary to remove the spark plug and lubricate the cylinder bore, as a vehicle in long term storage would require. Video features items such as oil level checks, chain lubrication, preventing corrosion, tyre pressure checks, draining and replenishing fuel and the addition of a fuel preserver designed for vehicles and small engines being stored over winter. I hope you enjoy it!
