モンチッチパパの銅像づくり【モンチッチ公園編】

Making a Bronze Statue of Monchhichi Papa [Monchhichi Park Edition] Sekiguchi Co., Ltd., the creator of Monchhichi, was founded in 1918 (Taisho 7) at this park site. "We want to leave a bronze statue here as a token of gratitude to the town, our ancestors, and the dolls that have supported Sekiguchi." Chairman Koichi Sekiguchi (Monchhichi Papa) initiated this collaborative project with Katsushika Ward. The park was expanded and reopened in April 2022 as a place to enjoy Monchhichi. It features bronze statues of nine Sekiguchi dolls from across history, as well as Monchhichi statues such as the "Monchhichi Group Statue" and "Monchhichi Playing in Water," as well as trick art and a mini museum.
