Whitney Houston & Porsche Foxx 2004 Interview 2004 part 1 of 2

I was blessed with the opportunity to talk with Whitney Houston while doing radio in Atlanta Georgia in 2004. This was one of the most down to earth, fun and honest interviews I've ever done. Whitney and I talked about everything from promoting her first ever Christmas CD to how she feels about answering questions about her drug usage. Whitney talks about the fact that she gave so much of her life to the public and was ready for some normalcy! We discussed her feeling excited about something as small as washing her own clothes and doing things with her family that we so often take for granted. The interview took place in 2004 when Whitney was 40 yrs. Old. She was aggressively seeking peace and sobriety and even took a hiatus from her career to focus on "Whitney." She wanted people to know despite of being one of the biggest Superstars in the world, she is a human being just like you and I! t made chills run down my spine when she talked about the love of her life, Bobby Kristina Brown! You can hear the pride and joy in her voice. Being a mother and at the time, the wife of Bobby Brown, was beginning to make Whitney feel like you and me, normal. I quickly noticed Whitney and I had something special in common, the ability to talk to anyone and make them feel at home. We hit it off at "Hello" and Immediately talked as if we were chillin on the couch at the Crib! Thank you Cissy Houston, "Mom", for allowing us to witness Whitney Elizabeth Houston outside of the media and inside of the CHURCH! Whitney's homegoing experience, February 18, 2012 represented her well, one of a kind! Please continue to pray for Whitney's family, friends and Haters as she prepares to sing in heaven! Thank you Whitney for sharing your gift and the opportunity! "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!".........1963 -- 2012 R.I.P.
