Philippines House Update - Reveal #philippines #livinginthephilippines

In this episode we show you through the changes we have made to our home in San Vicente, Ilocos Sur, The Philippines. For those who remember the state of the house when we arrived in the Philippines you will recall that it was left in poor condition and there was plenty of work to do to get it looking good. You'll see us working on the landscaping and making some upgrades, particularly in the electrical department. We installed a new CCTV system, new lights and a 5.5kw solar system. We also did a bit of painting on the gate and downpipes, installed new doors, covered the grey water tank, installed another AC unit, got rid of the ugly burn pit, and took down the electric fence (so it no longer looks like a combat outpost in Afghanistan LOL). But it wasn't all work and no play... we also had a pretty busy social schedule, catching up with a lot of new friends (many expats) as well as many people in our local community, and of course we maintained "date night"!!. You'll see what Halloween looks like in Vigan City too, it was crazy!! That's where we leave this episode... in the next eoisode we leave our home in the capable hands of our caretaker and we head to manila in preparation for Australia.
