3rd Gen 4Runner || Lower Ball Joint Replacement
If you picked up 3rd gen 4runner and have no idea if the LBJs have ever been replaced, or if you're up to 80k miles or so since the last time they were replaced, I highly recommend you go ahead and replace them. Due to premature failure reported in non-OEM lower ball joints, I strongly urge you to replace them with factory original LBJs. This is not a very complicated job, so hopefully this tutorial will help you get the job done. This tutorial is applicable for the 3rd gen 4runners (1996-2002).
