Without it, your credentials won’t be recognized for licensure or admissions. Think of it as your passport into the U.S. dental system. ✅ Step-by-Step ECE Application Process Here’s a full walkthrough of what you need to do: 📌 Step 1: Create an Account Go to www.ece.org → Click “Apply Now” → Set up your personal profile with a valid email and secure password. 📌 Step 2: Choose Evaluation Type Choose the Course-by-Course Evaluation, which includes a detailed breakdown of your courses, grades, credit hours, and U.S. equivalent GPA. This is the evaluation type accepted by ADA and CAAPID. Cost: $195 (as of now) 📌 Step 3: Enter Academic Info Fill in all your post-secondary institutions. For most, this will be your dental college. Include full names, dates attended, degree titles, and country. Make sure everything matches exactly what’s printed on your transcripts and degree certificate. 📌 Step 4: Submit Required Documents Typically, ECE will require: Official dental degree certificate Transcripts/Mark Sheets (all years) Official English translations if your documents are in another language All documents must be: Sent directly by your institution OR Sent by you in a sealed envelope, signed/stamped across the seal Translations must be certified.
