2015 BRC FOTH Eventer's Challenge - Total Recall

It is always such an honour to ride at a National Championship and the Festival of the Horse must be one the best (not that I have ridden at any others). This was our first trip of the 2015 season up to Washbrook Farm, Aston le Walls and we had a great day. Pigeon made the technical cross country course feel very easy (despite having a good look around at all the people watching, taking photos and videos etc). We were just 3 seconds over the optimum time on the cross country but those two unlucky poles in the tricky show jumping had us well out of the placings against strong competition of around 90 others! As always I feel like I have won the ultimate prize every time I get to take my beautiful Pigeon Pants home safe and sound… who needs ribbons and sashes when you have a horse like Pigeon! :)
