SLOW TRAVEL IN CHINA (VLOG) ft. Beijing & Shanghai I ep. 23

ciao, bentornati, o benvenuti! I'm finally back in Rome so first things first, I had to go through all of my content from this recent trip to China. even though it was a chaotic trip in many ways, I'm so happy I went and I'm already planning my next trip to the south of China. the itinerary included Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, jet lag, getting locked out of Alipay with no passport... genuinely felt like the universe was testing me for a week straight. thank god for Jackie. between the highs (hydrangeas, tasty food, vintage markets, Chagee) and the lows (Great Wall in the rain, missing some of the most iconic spots), this trip has been a lot. but that's kind of the whole point of travelling without overplanning, it rarely goes the way you think it will. next up: Japan, which will be a breath of fresh air.
