In this short video we want to show you the complete process of how to paint an electric guitar professionally, with a mirror-like finish and with the color that you like the most. The process is based on changing the color without having to completely unpaint or strip your guitar since we will only prepare the surface to be able to apply a new nitrocellulose-type color and its subsequent finish by means of either nitro or catalyzed lacquer and a final stage of polishing by means of polish or also known as polishing wax. The advantages of this process are that you can do it yourself since it is an easy process to carry out and you do not need specialized tools to achieve it. As disadvantages we have that it is a process only applicable to low and medium range guitars since in a high range guitar the previous paint must always be stripped or completely removed.
