We partnered with Sotetsu Grand Fresa Taipei Ximen (相鐵飯店台北西門), and honestly, this hotel made our Taipei experience so much smoother. From its unbeatable location in Ximen to thoughtful perks like self check-in kiosks, laundry facilities, and even small travel essentials like stain remover pads (which we definitely needed 😅), it was the perfect home base for our adventures. One of the coolest surprises? The hotel offered us a discounted Taiwanese cooking class, which turned into one of our favorite experiences in Taiwan! We learned how to make classic dishes like beef noodle soup, cucumber salad, and soup dumplings—and it was such a fun, hands-on way to experience the culture. After that, we headed out for even more exploring, including a visit to the famous Taipei Zoo 🐼, where we saw some of our favorite animals (yes, including the giant pandas!). We also spent time wandering through the streets of Ximending, trying food, exploring shops, and just soaking in the energy of Taipei.
