Lalita Sharma is a senior disciple of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj ji belonging to the Mewati gharana. Lalita Sharma, one of the few musicians in India who is adept at singing both the Hindustani and Carnatic styles of Indian Classical music. Lalita founded the Pandit Jasraj School of Music Foundation in the US in Tampa, Atlanta and Los Angeles. She is the founder Director of The Swaraangan School for Hindustani Music in Chennai.
