FD3S RX7 Coolant replacement and Aluminum AST installation

Coolant is one of the most looked over fluids in rx7's or rotary vehicles in general. These engines have very thin walls separating the combustion chamber and cooling jacket in the irons which will fail if corrosion and rust is allowed to set in. A coolant drain and fill is incredibly inexpensive, not very hard to perform yourself and can save you thousands in future repairs. If using traditional coolant like in this video. Adjust your coolant to water ratio based on your climate and driving conditions. A good rule of thumb is 50/50 and works with pretty much any vehicle. I choose to run around 70% water and 30% coolant usually because I live in a hot climate and water cools better than coolant does. The downside is you should change it more frequently due to the lack of corrosion inhibitors in plain water. If you live in a cold climate where hard freezes happen, you may want to go to a ratio of up to 70% coolant and 30% water so your coolant does not freeze.
