‘A new low’: The left target charity event over Hanson’s attendance, riot squad called

Sky News host Rita Panahi says the left has reached a “new low” after protesting and intimidating people at an event raising money for brain cancer. “Even by the left’s very, very low gutter level standards, this was a new low,” Ms Panahi said. “People were gathering to raise money for research into brain cancer, and because there was going to be Pauline Hanson in attendance, she was going to support the charity … people were shouting abuse, intimidating guests going there to raise money for cancer research. “In the end, Pauline Hanson didn’t attend, and I think we’re at a dangerous point in our country when that is allowed to happen.”
