In 2003, the magical and mysterious world of the Roma was brought to the screen on eltrece by Adrián Suar. With superbly crafted set design, this culture was faithfully recreated, supported by a grand display of costumes and characterizations, featuring long skirts, plunging necklines, heavily made-up eyes, and considerable earrings. Within this context, complex stories unfolded between two feuding families, where the younger generations take center stage to break the traditional rules imposed by their ancestors. A world of gypsies, forbidden loves, unspeakable secrets, and age-old hatreds were the pillars of this great success, which featured remarkable performances by Osvaldo Laport, Arnaldo André, Juan Darthés, Julieta Díaz, Romina Gaetani, Valentina Bassi, Luisina Brando, Antonio Grimau, Betiana Blum, Juan Palomino, Malena Solda, and Joaquín Furriel, among others.
