Have you ever had a jar candle with a burnt-out wick, but there was still some wax left in the jar that you wanted to remove? Here I'll show you how to do just that with a simple trick. All you need is water. Ideally, it should be between 50-60 degrees Celsius, because at 40 degrees Celsius, the wax begins to melt. Now, tip the water into the glass so that all the wax is submerged. Now wait a while and try to remove the wax with a toothpick. If there's a lot of candle wax left in the jar, you can remove it directly. Otherwise, wait until the wax melts. This will raise it to the surface of the water. Now all you have to do is wait for the water to cool again, after which you can simply remove the wax. Then, pour the water through a cloth to catch any remaining wax, which you can then throw in the trash. This will prevent candle wax from ending up in your drain. To get the glass really clean, you can apply a little vinegar to a cloth and wipe the glass with it.
