This is our cross-country flight across America in a Diamond DA42. We departed from Orlando and flew west toward Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, the Bay Area, Portland, Seattle, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Mount Rushmore, and finally back to Orlando. Along the way, we captured some of the most unforgettable views we have ever seen from the cockpit — desert cities, the Great Salt Lake, the Golden Gate Bridge, Portland at blue hour, Seattle’s skyline, Mount Rainier, Yellowstone Lake, the Grand Tetons, snow-covered ridgelines, mountain sunsets, and the final flight home. This trip was more than just flying from one airport to another. It was a journey across landscapes, weather, light, and memories — all seen from above in a DA42.
