President Museveni changed the leadership of the Uganda Police Force, withdrawing most military officers from its helm and restoring traditional police officers to the top of the command structure. Abbas Byakagaba and James Ochaya are now the Inspector General of Police and the Deputy Inspector General of Police, respectively.
