Três Lagoas, MS, a cidade que nos surpreendeu

Três Lagoas is a city in the east of Mato Grosso do Sul and the third most populous in the state. Its name comes from the three immense lagoons in its centre. The city has a reasonable income distribution and no pockets of poverty, as well as providing its citizens with a high quality of life. It has privileged access to the Centre-West, Southeast and South regions of the country and to South American countries. It is the centre of the so-called Bolsão Sul-Matogrossense, a region rich in tax revenue for the state of Mato Grosso do Sul and whose main economic activity is livestock farming. With the crisis in the sector, however, industry and tourism are emerging as alternatives for the municipality and the region. We would like to thank the new friends we have made in the city, who have welcomed us with so much love and attention. We had some marvellous days with them that will live on in our fondest memories.
