Orchestras, particularly permanent orchestras, can unfortunately provide a favorable context for moral and sexual harassment and violence to develop and to deteriorate musicians’ health, on top of the already well-known issue on MSD (musculoskeletal) and hearing disorders – and the growing concern and cases continues to be one of the hottest subjects today in orchestras.
