Metropolitan Line 🚆 : Preston Road - Finchley Road! 🚆 (CBTC) [took just under 10 minutes!]
In TfL's Four Lines Modernisation project, Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) has been implemented to modernize the signalling system on the Metropolitan line trains. This new system will allow trains to run closer together, leading to increased frequency, shorter waiting times, and more capacity. The ultimate goal is to operate 32 trains per hour in central London during peak times. . . Recorded on Monday 2nd June 2025 from: 7:06pm - 7:15pm 📸 #tfl #trains #londonundergroundtransport
