"There's Power in Your Tongue," An Interview with Maria Vadia

Today’s my birthday and in gratitude for another year around the sun, I want to share this special episode with you. I had the honor of speaking with Maria Vadia, an evangelist and founder of ⁠The Glory of God Foundation⁠ and was blown away. I know I say that about each guest but listening to Maria felt like walking on the road to Emmaus next to Jesus. Maria is from Cuba and her and her family fled to Miami to escape the Communist regime when she was 10 years old. She is passionate about scripture and speaks with such conviction that my heart was stirring throughout. As I listened to her, I realized how often I have misused a great gift I’ve been given - my tongue. The words we say about ourselves and to others matters. We have the power to build up or to tear down, and both have eternal consequences.
