Ser Autista - Artista Coral Teen IAESC
Lyrics: Jonatas Pedromo Zukowski Music: Ezequiel Marcus The video clip "Ser Autista" is a project designed to pay tribute to autistic people. The lyrics were written by an autistic person who was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) level 1 at the age of 30. This song is for you who have lived through the experiences of a person who for years was seen as "strange", someone who couldn't fit in in many situations and was often judged negatively by family, school and work. Until, in the midst of the pain of rejection and discouragement, you discover that almost everything has an explanation. You discover that you are autistic and then many things start to change. The discovery is the beginning of a brand new world. The light at the end of the tunnel begins to appear. The chorus of the song shows that autistic people are all different, they cannot be compared. They have points in common, but there are many differences. And most importantly: God has a plan for you! He made you unique and different. If everything seems to be falling apart, remember that God is perfect and wise. If people don't believe in you, God will never give up on you! Trust completely in the Lord! The project is an initiative of the Adventist Ministry of Possibilities, in conjunction with RAAFA (Adventist Support Network for Autistic Families). "Information generates empathy, empathy generates respect". The video was recorded in partnership with the Seventh-day Adventist Church of IAESC with special participation by the Teen Choir. Lyrics: Being Autistic I was different, without knowing why. I was always trying to find my place. People told me I was too strange, All I wanted was to be someone. What do I have? I'm going to find out. I'm completely different, no one is like me. Today I know I'm autistic, and I'm going to discover a new world. But my friend is autistic, and he's not always like me. Chorus I like to hug, and my friend doesn't. I like to eat everything, and my friend doesn't. I like math and writing, and my friend doesn't, no, no, no. I talk very little, and my friend, too much. I have few friends, and my friends, too many. We are so different, and what unites us makes us the same, makes us the same.
