Jesus taught his disciples through many parables, and the Parable of the Sower is one of the most well-known. The purpose of this parable might be to remind the sower not to become discouraged when sharing the word of the kingdom, the Word of God. The bearing of fruit does not depend only on the sower, but also on where the seed is sown: along the path, on rocky ground, among thorns, or on good soil. I believe this is true. We can see people whose hearts are like the path, the rocky ground, the thorny soil, and the good soil. But what if the sower is a good gardener?
