Testing Rockwell Water Mixable Oil Paint | June 2026 SketchBox Unboxing & First Impressions

In this video, I'm finally testing the Rockwell Water Mixable Oil Paint that came in my June 2026 SketchBox subscription box. It may be a little late, but better late than never! I explore how these paints compare to watercolor, how they behave on the palette, and what happens when they dry. Unlike watercolor, the paint didn't reactivate the same way once dry, but it offered a unique painting experience and dried a bit faster than I expected. Using only three colors, I mixed a variety of new shades and had a lot of fun experimenting with color combinations.
