In this video, I installed everything, built an entire full-stack app using only 4 skills, and show the result. First, I explain what Skills are in Antigravity. A skill is a package of specialized instructions that the AI ​​loads only when needed. Unlike a system prompt that constantly consumes context, a skill is intelligent and only activates when it makes sense. The structure is simple: a Markdown file called SKILL.md with instructions and optionally Python or Bash scripts that the AI ​​can execute. Without skills, Antigravity gives generic answers and tutorial code. With skills, it becomes an on-demand expert with production code and professional standards. I'll show you the Antigravity Awesome Skills repository with almost 8,000 stars and 968 battle-tested skills. It works on Antigravity, Claude Code, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. It has official skills from Anthropic, Google, Vercel, and Supabase. Installation with one command: npx antigravity-awesome-skills. It clones everything to the .agent/skills/ folder and that's it. To really test it, I build a full-stack task management app using only 4 skills. The first skill is @brainstorming. The repository itself advises always starting with it before building anything. It transforms AI into a product architect that thinks before coding. It asks structured questions, validates requirements, and generates a complete spec with justified technical decisions, folder structure, and data modeling. The second skill is @backend-dev-guidelines. I take the plan created by the brainstorming session and execute the backend. The difference is brutal: separate authentication middleware, organized routes, input validation, error handling. Professional Node.js and Express patterns that, without the skill, would be tutorial code. Express API with SQLite working with JWT authentication. The third skill is @react-best-practices. Modern React with production patterns. Context API for authentication, separate service layer, organized components. Login working, dashboard with stats, complete CRUD for tasks with filters by status and priority. Frontend and backend communicating perfectly. The fourth skill is @api-security-best-practices. The icing on the cake. I ask the skill to audit the code that Antigravity itself created. And it finds problems: missing rate limiting, incomplete input validation, security headers. Not only does it find them, but it also fixes each one following OWASP standards. The security skill audited the code that the other skills created. Without it, these problems would go into production. I'll be honest about the downside. Installing all 900+ skills at once has a cost: Antigravity loads the metadata of all of them at the beginning of the session. More skills, more tokens, more chance of activating the wrong skill. The repository itself recommends using Bundles, which are packages curated by specialty. Install the complete repository to have everything available, but focus on the skills in your project's bundle. The real power isn't in having 900 skills.
