3 Jul 2026: 128F Arrives with 806 and Cub (explore.org)

Well, this is quite the turn of events. 128 emancipated Biggie exactly a month ago, and this is the first we've seen of her on the cams. The way 806 is allowing Biggie to be so close to her cub, and the way she touched Biggie's nose when they were in the lake sure points to this being an adoption, but it won't be official unless she allows her to nurse. Should Biggie nurse, I'd be a little concerned about 806's springer getting enough milk, but I'm basing that only on my experience with cattle.
