"On The Soul's Desire for Christ" by Saint Ambrose of Milan 378 AD

Saint Ambrose of Milan was nicknamed the "Honey Tongued" Doctor of the Church for his profound eloquence and sweetness of speech especially when writing and preaching about the Lord. Ambrose's impact on the Apostolic Church in the 4th century was beyond profound and he was used by Christ to fight Arianism, Novatianism, and many other heresies that threatened to undermine the traditions handed down by the apostles and fathers before him.
