Viltrox 50mm f1.8 vs Sony 50mm f1.8

Viltrox 50mm f1.8 vs Sony 50mm f1.8 Can the Viltrox 50mm f1.8 beat the super cheap Sony 50mm f1.8 FE lens? I take this through a quick photoshoot scenario and video shoot just to test them side by side and see which one is better "out in the field". The Sony lens performs how a sony lens should. Fast autofocus and reliable with overall pretty decent image performance. The viltrox on the other hand has a few quirks. Image performance is solid but with the photoshoot it had a few autofocus issues. It would not catch onto the model or focus properly a few times during the shoot which became frustrating. I must say if you are a photographer I recommend the Sony lens and if you are a video shooter than the Viltrox lens may be better for you.
