República Checa: Una presa gratis (gracias a los castores)
The municipality of Brdy wanted to build a dam to regulate water and reclaim a natural area. But a lengthy dispute over property rights stalled the project, and nothing came of it. Until they arrived: a group of beavers built the perfect dam, without permits, without contracts… and for free. The result: savings of €1.2 million and an unexpected lesson. Sometimes, when humans step aside, nature finds a way. Do you think we should intervene less and observe more? #dwmagacines #focuseurope
