毎年一本、２本と枯れていくのが、我が家の五葉松。 枯れないまでも、大抵の場合調子があまり良くないので、ほとんど手入れを見送っています。 ここ数年の猛暑がさらに状態を悪くしているのかも。 さて今回は、五葉松の苗木を剪定して植え替えました。 元気になってくれると良いのですが。 環境が合わないと、五葉松のような高山植物は育てるのが難しいですね。 The Japanese white pine is an alpine plant and it doesn't suit the environment in my rooftop garden. Most of my Goyomatsu are not in good condition, so I could not take care of them very well. The extreme heat of past few years has further affected them. This time, I pruned and replanted my young Japanese white pines. This replanting will hepl the trees thrive.
