In this presentation, Katherine shares her personal journey with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), her experiences with MindDog, and the important role assistance dogs can play in supporting individuals living with complex disabilities in everyday life. Through lived experience, education and reflection, this presentation highlights the life-changing bond between people and assistance dogs — and the comfort, confidence, grounding and support they can provide day to day.
