There are people who enter your life by chance... and then continue to reappear over the years at the most unlikely moments. This is one of those stories that seemed destined to happen, until it ended in the most unexpected way possible. In this video, I'll tell you about a relationship that spanned years, different cities, and a surprising number of coincidences. It all began in high school, when this person texted me for the first time. Then silence. Years of not hearing from each other, until life decided to put us back on the same path. I found myself in Amsterdam, and he, who by then was living in the Netherlands, texted me again after a very long time, asking to meet up. Too bad I read the message too late, and that opportunity also faded into thin air. It seemed to end there. But instead, I kept coming back to Amsterdam, and sooner or later, we finally managed to meet. And that's where the real story begins. He looks like something out of a Nordic movie: tall, blond, with an imposing physique, braids, and that glacial gaze that never goes unnoticed. But behind that image was a personality far more complex than I imagined. In the meantime, he had moved to Rotterdam, and getting to know his world was almost a culture shock. New friendships, unusual dynamics, evenings that took completely unpredictable turns, and situations that constantly made me ask, "How did I end up here?" Between board games with decidedly creative rules, unconventional groups of friends, and a series of experiences I could never have planned, we continued to hang out for quite some time. Then came another important chapter: the period in which I moved to Amsterdam for an internship. From that moment on, we began to see each other much more often, and the story took a different direction. Living in the same city changes everything: habits, complicity, the way you really get to know a person. Until one of the most iconic events of the summer: Pride. A day that started out in the best possible way, with celebration, incredible energy, and moments that seemed destined to become beautiful memories. Then the evening comes.
