Soo: So obviously, the first and most noticable thing is how patient soo is able to be versus remillia, during all 3 phases of the game. During defense is obvious as Remilia's versatile pressure is scary and easy to lose against if you don't know how to respond properly. In offense he sometimes holds back due to the danger of DP on top of regular mash points. (Such as not movement cancelling his 236 midscreen.) In neutral he generally usually stays out of remillia's normals' ranges and waits until his opponent puts himself in a bad situation rather than forcing it. As soon as Aya is able to jump without being in pressure, the neutral becomes heavily in her favor, as she can use her most effective tools against Remilia, mainly j5a, j2d j5a and j236. These 3 sequences cover a majority of Remilia's options at different ranges, basically leaving her to either try a hard read or stay away and be patient. Simply by becoming airborne Aya makes it hell for Remilia to approach. However, while Aya is in a prime position to respond to any option Remilia has at that point, if Remilia chooses to be patient it can be very hard for Aya to get back in as the rock paper scissors somewhat equalizes beyond the first interaction. He's also really good at converting from 4a aub which not only is sick as fuck, but makes his neutral that much scarier as it makes it even harder for Remilia to actually get in on Soo's Aya. Overall, Soo plays a very reactive and low-risk Aya until he gets the rare moment where he's in an overwhelming advantage. Overall Sliicer's games against Latimaster here feel a lot more like a slugfest compared to Soo and Miso's set of mutual annoyance.
