SWAT / SRT Firearms Qualification

This video serves to describe and demonstrate the OTG SWAT/SRT qualification course which is used at our SWAT schools and on contract courses by request. This qual is based on the qual used by East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team. That qual was originally designed to replicate things one might need to do on approach, at the breach, or within a structure, with times and accuracy standards reflecting hostage rescue “difficulty”. The 2 point scoring zone in the chest is 5” and the head is 2”. Generally speaking 90+ is “passing” the course, 80+ is acceptable as a baseline for training.
