11-year-old Advik Agarwal scores his 2nd IM norm in his hometown Pune

Born in 2015, Advik is an amazing young talent of Indian chess. He scored his 2nd IM norm at the Pune GM Round Robin event. For the youngster it was a test of fire as he played against almost all the players higher rated than him. And he performed a solid 5.0/9 to get his second IM norm. We speak to him after the tournament to know more about his games - his win against Aleksandrov in round 1 and his draw against to-be GM Aswath S. in round 6. We also dabble a bit in his 150+ move win against IM Nitish Belurkar.
