Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Yakima 10 Gallon RoadShower. It's a portable, pressurized, solar shower for roof racks. Now this is a vehicle water tank that will provide access to pressurized water, while you're out on your adventures. Basically the sun will heat the water that's inside this tank during the day and give the access to hot water. So it's great for rinsing off any dirt or grime from your body, cleaning off any dirty gear and equipment or even just rinsing the dishes at your camp site. Do you notice the very bottom right along here That does include this 81 inch long hose with the spray nozzle at the end, we just open it up. You can see, you can take the hose out and it unclips, and you can unclip it all the way down as far as you need to. And this'll let you easily control the water spray, just to have the nozzle on the end. And then when you're done, just go ahead and clip it back into place and then it has a Velcro or a hook and loop fastener right here that you can just attach it to hold the nozzle up there. Does have a large top cap right here, That allows for easy tank filling. And as we mentioned this as a 10 gallon tank, it has outlet ports on either end to offer convenient access to the water. On this end, we have the hose connected to one of the outlet ports. There's an outlet port over here. So actually, if you want to install another on-off elbow on this end, you can do that. We sell those extra. It'll let you access water simultaneously from both ends of the tank. And that on-off elbow is sold separately. It's part number Y04103. Also right next to the cap right up here, there is a Schrader air valve. You can see if you take the co, or the cap off, this Schrader air valve will let you pressurize the tank by using a bike pump or an electric pump. Now, they do offer a pressure relief valve inside this top cap here, that'll safely and automatically max out at 55 to 65 PSI. Now you can also rise, you can also pressurize this tank by using the included garden hose, female to female adapter that is included and this'll simultaneously fill and pressurize the tank with the attached hose on the tank. Basically you just remove the spray nozzle, install this adapter, and then connect it to a garden hose. Open that black handle over here and then turn on your garden hose and allow the incoming water to pressurize in the tank. Also wanted to show you, it is a very simple installation. Let me just lift this up and you'll be able to see on the very bottom, you'll have this T-channel and that T-channel runs the full length of the tank and it comes with these included clamp-on brackets, that'll clamp to your roof rack. And these bolts, if you notice, they give you long and short mounting bolts. So basically all you have to do is find the opening, slide the bolt in there, then you can slide it on the T-channel and you do that with the bolts and then attach it to these clamps here, to hold it onto your roof. It is designed to fit a crossbar spread of 32 inches to 80 inches. They do also include everything else that's showing here and includes the SKS, which is the same key system locks. These are included to lock the tank to the crossbars so nobody can remove it. It comes with a nice set of instructions, kind of even offers this stick on thermometer strip that you can stick onto the tank and it will display the water temperature from 61 degrees Fahrenheit to 118 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a nice welded aluminum construction. You can see it has a nice black powder coat finish on it, which is very durable and rustproof. Also, what's nice about it, the black finish will allow the water to heat up, when the tank is exposed to the sun. The water temperature will rise about 10 to 15 degrees per hour on a nice warm sunny day. Few specs again on this, the can capacity is 10 gallons. The tank weight empty is 37 pounds. When it's fully filled with water, it's 120 pounds. And the last thing I wanted to give you is the dimensions. So if we measure from this end of the tank, all the way over to this end, it's going to be 82 inches long. The width this way is going to be 7 and 7/16 inches wide. And the total height from the bottom to the very top is 5 and 3 quarter inches tall, but that should do it on the review on this Yakima 10 Gallon RoadShower with portable, pressurized, solar shower for roof racks..
