Banana value addition: Creative Ninsiima makes paper bags out of banana stem-tubers

Plantains are a big delicacy in the central and southern parts of the country. But the starchy members of the banana family have a number of other by-products that a woman living in Kampala recently discovered. Sharon Ninsiima learnt how to make paper bags from stem tubers and hasn’t looked back. Solomon Kaweesa caught up with her and reports.
