X-Session performing Number One at the TMF Awards. In 1995, the Belgian music group X-Session released their first single, which didn't achieve much success. However, their breakthrough came in 1996 with the release of their third single, "Bang Bang," which spent over 26 weeks in the Belgian charts. The follow-up, "To the Sky," also became a chart-topper. In 1997, one of the original members, 'Cassia,' left the group for family reasons and was replaced by Brondeel. Under the guidance of their manager, X-Session embarked on a series of international performances in France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Japan, and New York. Thomas and Brondeel's first collaboration produced the single "Say Yeah," along with hits like "Pump It," "The Sound," and the ballad "Baby, It's You." These successful tracks were featured on their debut album, "A Trip to Xanigy." In 1999, X-Session released the hit "On and On," earning them a Donna Award in 2000. The follow-up single, "Hot Shot," was equally well-received. Alongside the hit single "Welcome to My World," which gained significant popularity, the group released their second album, "By Me," after switching from Arcadia Music Company to EMI. Simultaneously, they launched the single "Boogieman." The last hit of 2000 was "Number 1." Since 1999, X-Session has also included the permanent dancer 'Serge' in their lineup.
