The Meta Lion King Mid-quel You Forgot Existed
The Lion King 3, or The Lion King 1½ depending on where you're from is kind of revolutionary. Apart from The Emperor's New Groove I don't think Disney has made a film quite so self aware. To be honest The Emperor's New Groove is more a tester for how insane this movie actually becomes. I was asked to review this one after I did a comparison between the first and second lion king movies and I'm so glad I did. I remember it from my childhood days but I had assumed the humour was largely child centric with basic gags and the like. How wrong I was. This is one of the funniest movies I've watched in a while, so let's delve into it to find out why. Enjoy.
