Zero Pocket Perfection | Rivery MFG Utility Knife | Unboxing and First Reaction

A South African EDC surprise: Unboxing of the Rivery MFG Zerist Zero knife, distributed by Pocket Perfection and the most dangerous fidget I’ve tested yet. For the first time, I’m stepping slightly outside the world of pure fidget tools and tactile objects to explore a compact everyday carry knife. This is my first look and unboxing of the Zero knife, manufactured in the United States by Rivery Manufacturing and distributed in South Africa by Pocket Perfection. Ed from Pocket Perfection reached out unexpectedly and as a fellow South African it meant a lot to see a local distributor making well-engineered EDC gear accessible in a country where high-quality everyday carry tools can be difficult to find. In this video I open the box for the first time, explore the magnetic sliding mechanism and share my immediate reactions to the CNC-machined aluminium design, compact form factor and surprisingly satisfying haptic feedback. Up until now, this channel has focused on EDC fidgets, sliders, spinners, and tactile mechanical objects. However, this knife sits at an interesting intersection, a tool first, fidget second, piece of engineering. The magnetic snap action, automatic blade retraction and ultra-compact design make the Zero both practical and strangely addictive to interact with. Full Review coming soon!
